Another "Fun" Thanksgiving! (November 23, 2011)
And the time has come for my Thanksgiving ritual: spending the day sick to my stomach and then trying to figure out what the least amount of food I have to eat is in order to not offend my family. My sister got into hipster cooking a few years ago and has slowly taken over every aspect of the feast, replacing the normal, tasty meals with stuff I can't stand. Then last year she started cooking the turkey in apple cider vinegar (hence the sick to my stomach part). I used to be able to load up on turkey and be fine, this year I'll be lucky if the mashed potatoes are still safe.
I envy all of you who don't have hipster relatives that think they can cook. I envy you.
